Cornerstone Insurance Services was founded in early 2021 by Jantz Goble. Jantz is an insurance veteran having started his career in the industry in 2005. When the decision was made to start his own insurance agency, there was no question that it was going to be an independent vs captive. The mission of the company is in the name -Helping set the Cornerstone of your Financial Foundation. Insurance is the base of everyone's financial situation. If you do not properly insure yourself, then you are exposed to significant financial loss. The ability to work with a wide range of top rated carriers was key to the success of this mission.
Jantz Goble - Owner
During the past 18 years I have held various positions on the company side of insurance working closely with independent insurance agents to service their clients. Some of those roles are Customer Service Representative, Underwriter, multiple positions in accounting, and most recently the VP of Operations for a Texas based Managing General Agency which was writing business in 9 states. During my time with the company I had experience in auto, homeowners, classic car, aviation, and motorcycle products and am now a fully licensed General Lines Life, Accident, Health, Property and Casualty agent in the state of Texas. I have been married to my lovely wife for 17 years and we have 4 children pictured above 14 down to 7.
Joe Scott - Director of Operations & Commercial Lines Products
Joe brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for helping people that we know will greatly benefit our valued customers like you.
A bit about Joe's journey: Originally from Ohio, Joe's life took him on quite the trek, living in multiple states before he finally settled in Texas in 2000 to pursue his passion for higher education at a Bible college. In 2005, Joe embarked on his professional insurance career when he joined a Texas-based managing general agency. Over the years, he honed his skills in various facets of the insurance industry, including customer service, underwriting, and claims, making him a well-rounded expert in the field. In 2007, Joe took his expertise to CUNA Mutual, where he held various roles and responsibilities, ultimately becoming an Operations Leader. In this role, he skillfully managed a team of commercial raters and claims servicing professionals. In August 2023, Joe decided to launch out on a new chapter in his career by joining Cornerstone Insurance Services as our Director of Operations and Commercial Lines Products. We are thrilled to have him on board, and we are confident that his leadership and experience will enhance the quality of service we provide to you, our valued customers.
