Tony Hale announced his resignation from American Family Insurance in order to pursue a partnership with his wife Donna, and join her independent agency, Cornerstone Insurance Services. Tony has a great track record in the insurance industry and is a past recipient of several prestigious awards, including distinguished agent of the year, four-year recipient of the Distinguished Insurance Agency awarded by JD Powers, and holds a LUTCF designation. Tony is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and was past president of the Fremont Chapter.
Tony was born and raised in the Emerson, Nebraska. He graduated from Hubbard High School and served in the US Army for two years. Tony began a career in Law Enforcement at Blair Nebraska. He was a patrol officer, criminal investigator and ended his career as the Blair Police Chief, where he served for 18 years with 10 years of service as the Chief. Tony left Blair to join American Family Insurance and started his agency in Fremont Nebraska in 1993.
Tony married Donna in 1997. Donna was born and raised in Red Oak, Iowa, she attended college and graduated from Iowa Western and Buena Vista. While teaching in Schuyler she obtained her Masters in Education from Wayne State College. Donna taught school in Schuyler until 2004 when she retired and joined Tony at his agency. On March 1, 2008, Donna decided to start her own independent agency, Cornerstone Insurance Services. Tony and Donna have 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Donna and Tony have a passion for running, having participated in multiple races including 5k, 10k, half and full marathons. They enjoy bicycling, kayaking, and spending time with the family. They are active members of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont.
